Arte Románico

It is a Benedictine abbey located on the eastern side of a small valley, in the municipality of Santo Domingo de Silos, Burgos, autonomous community of Castile and Leon in Spain. The cloister is one of the masterpieces of Romanesque monastery español.El, but not in its present form, dates back to the Visigothic period (seventh century), but fades during the Muslim occupation.
